Quinta da Condeça is located in the central region of Portugal, in the village of BARREIRAS near the coast, north of Lisbon, about 70 km from the airport which is located along the northern border of the city.

Two parallel motorways lead to the "Quinta" from Lisbon :

• Either A8 along the coast for 60 km until the motorway exit "Bombarral"

Then the National 361 for 6 kms to "Cadaval"

Then the little road that goes to "Peral" for 4 kms

In Peral, continue straight on for 1 or 2 kms, until the bottom of the neighboring hamlet which is Barreiras.

• Either A1 along the Tagus River for 40 km to the " Aveiras de Cima " exit

Then the 366 National, towards " Caldas da Rainha " for approx 30 kms , passing through "Alcoentre" and "Cercal" until Barreiras (tangential to the National behind the hills)

From Porto:

Theoretically, the same two highways are possible in the north-south direction .

However, the A1 that you must exit at Santarem is more complicated.

It is thus advised to take the A8 and to exit at Bombarral.
Then, same itinerary as before.

Warning !

As in most cases in Portugal, the « Barreiras » signs are placed at the last moment and not always easy to read...
It is therefore advised to rent a car with a GPS (enter Barreiras or Peral, the village Barreiras is part of) or to ask your way in the last village before arriving to avoid turning around on the small country roads – even though they are charming.

The property begins with the old-pink coloured buildings overlooking the central square of the village, next to the church.

You can either come in by the entrance gate at the official address, located at the end of a private road dos Cucos, or by the gate overlooking the village square’s fountain (Largo do Rossio), indicated by a nominative plaque on the wall that borders the large main street ending to the place (" 8 de Setembro" street).

The parking of vehicles can be done without any problem all around the village square, in front of the quinta.
